Face Revitalization (30 min)

Face rejuvenations at Serenity Lady are a relaxing way to exfoliate and hydrate the skin, creating a bright, beautiful complexion. There are many reasons why you may request a professional facial treatment: you could want clearer skin, may need hydration, or may understand the anti-aging benefits of a facial. Whatever reason they have for scheduling a facial, we are here to help with this revitalization process. 

The process:

1) Exfoliate the dead skin and white/black heads with our delicious rich brown sugar and chocolate scrub. 

2) Steam with a hot towel to open up the pores and soften those black/white heads. It also increases blood flow to the skin, and it is very hydrating because it brings a lot of moisture to the skin. 

3) Face mask with our sea moss and chocolate mask. Being rich in sulfur, it has antibacterial, antiviral and antimicrobial functions1, so is believed to help with balancing the skin micro biome. The high sulfur content also can decrease the excessive production of sebum (oil) in the skin. Together with the antibacterial effect on Acne bacteria, it may help reduce the severity of acne in people who suffer from this condition. Sea moss is a great source of vitamins and minerals, which means that it can also help certain skin conditions, such as eczema and psoriasis.

4) Pressure point "Fassage"- Incorporating a little massage into your facial not only feels great, but it also helps to increase circulation and lymphatic drainage. This can result in a dewy, de-puffed complexion. It may also reduce dullness and skin irritation. There are areas that correlate with specific points where blocking of the meridians is common, resulting in pain and discomfort in the body. By servicing pressure points, we can unblock the meridians, regulating the flow of energy and releasing endorphins and other natural pain-relieving “qi” to the affected areas of the body.
