Bay Leaf AKA “tej patta” in Hindi is a delicious nutritious herb commonly used in cooking. They are a great source of antioxidants, vitamin A, C, iron, potassium, calcium, and magnesium, and that’s exactly why it works wonders for the gastrointestinal system. What’s more, it works as an antioxidant, antidiabetic, diuretic, and appetite stimulant.
To brew, just pour 8 ounces of boiling water over 1 tablespoon of the Alfalfa Leaf and let steep for at least 5 minutes before drinking. Add a sweetener and/or lemon, milk to your taste and enjoy.
